
Begonia Maculata Wightii, also known as Polka Dot Begonia, is known for its dramatic dark green leaves that look like angel's or bat wings and silver dots. It's an upright-cane type begonia native to Brazil. Begonia Maculata can grow up to 1,5m in height and produces pale flowers from late winter throughout spring.
Begonias are indigenous to Central and South America, Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa. The natural habitat of many begonias are moist, cool forests and tropical rainforests, but some begonias are adapted to dryer climates.
